This week we began hearing in the media about the NSW doctors' planned 3-day strike to begin 8 April 2025. The psychiatrists' resignations and IRC proceedings are a separate but crucially related matter. We have always been the canaries in the coalmine speaking out about poor working conditions and the impacts on patient safety and the quality of care- issues which are relevant to all of NSW Health.
