About us

 

We are a group of psychiatrists and psychiatry trainees who  believe in good mental health care for all.

We are shocked, frightened, and angry at the NSW government's lack of effective action to address the critical workforce shortages affecting psychiatrists and the rest of the public mental health system in NSW.

We created this website to help educate people about the crisis. We also have lots of content on our Instagram profile, @nswpsychiatrycrisis. None of us are technological or social media experts- we are just a bunch of doctors who realised that we can't advocate for change without you. We need you to learn, understand, share, and speak up alongside us.
